Chair
Cr Samantha Dunn (VLGA President)
Role of Working Group
The role of the Local Government Working Group on Gambling (LGWGOG) is to provide a network for local government councillors and officers as well as community members and organisations to minimise the impact of problem gambling, including advocacy to State and Federal Governments, and to provide advice on possible VLGA Board actions in this regard.
For general information on working groups please see our
Working and Advisory Groups page.
Members
LGWGOG is unique in its membership as it does not follow the convention of other VLGA working and advisory groups. LGWGOG meetings have always had a dynamic and strong participation rate, convening each meeting with at least 15 members from an extended VLGA network of interested parties. If you are interested in being on the LGWGOG distribution list and attending bi-monthly meetings please contact the VLGA on the details below.
