Responsible Gambling Awareness Week 17 – 23 May 2010

heading
The idea of '7-days of Responsibility’ will be used to promote the key themes of knowledge, balance and control amongst the community.

Responsible Gambling Awareness Week (RGAW) is a pro-active partnership between the Government, industry, community groups and local government. It is a strategic approach to build community resilience to problem gambling and educate community members at risk of developing a gambling problem. A secondary aim is to promote service awareness.

The week deliberately focuses on responsible gambling, not problem gambling, and aims to ensure people understand the importance of keeping their gambling under control.
