The Victorian Child Friendly Cities and Communities Network recognises the need for increased participation by children in decision making forums and creating child friendly environments

The Victorian Child Friendly Cities and Communities Advisory Group was established in June 2012. In partnership with the Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA), the Advisory Group supports the Victorian Child Friendly Cities and Communities (CFCC) Network. The CFCC Network has more than 70 members across the local government and planning sectors.

The Victorian Child Friendly Cities and Communities Network leads the way with the development and introduction of the Victorian Charter for Child Friendly Cities and Communities Charter. The CFCC Network works with councils to endorse and support creating child friendly environments and for increased participation by children in decision making.
