Update of Good Governance Guide
We are partnering with the MAV, LGPro and Local Government Victoria in a project to update the still very well used Good Governance Guide (2004). The partners aim to launch this revised Good Governance Guide in August 2012.

Councillor Code Of Conduct - Governance practice Note #2.
The purpose of this Local Government Victoria (LGV) Governance Practice Note is
to publish procedural information about Councillor Codes of Conduct and
Councillor Conduct Panels in an accessible format. It does not contain new
information. This is the second of a series of Governance Practice Notes that
LGV is publishing. The purpose of these is to provide an accessible reference to
help administrations and councillors comply with governance obligations under
the Local Government Act 1989.
