Cycling Promotion Fund
The Cycling Promotion Fund is a Bicycle Industries Australia Ltd. initiative established in 1999 to help the bicycle industry take collective action to increase bicycle use. The fundamental aim of the fund is: Promote cycling in Australia by building strategic partnerships and funding and supporting campaigns which promote bicycle use. The CPF are a highly effective advocacy organisation and have some good resources on cycling on their website.

VicRoads
VicRoads manages the Victorian road network and its use as an integral part of the overall transport system. VicRoads works to achieve improved access, safety and mobility for Victoria's road users. As well as road management for private vehicles and freight, VicRoads is a key agency in bicycle infrastructure delivery, safety design and programs, and community education on road and traffic issues.

Bicycle Victoria
Victoria's peak organisation for cycling and Australia's largest. They have comprehensive information on all aspects of cycling from infrastructure to events to behaviour change to etiquette. BV has developed resources focussed on assisting and engaging local governments to develop high quality cycling infrastructure and encouraging community participation, including the Ride to Work Day event and guides to road design that are inclusive of walking and motorised vehicle needs. Parks Victoria

The Victoria Transport Policy Institute is an independent research organisation dedicated to developing innovative and practical solutions to transportation problems. They provide a variety of free resources to help improve transportation planning and policy analysis and are funded primarily through consulting and project grants. Their research is among the most current available, has been widely applied and is well respected. They research all travel modes and include analysis of the land-use, social, health, economic and environmental considerations.
