Responsibilities for transport facilities are spread across all
three levels of government and provide an important context for
an integrated transport strategy. Both the Federal and State Governments
have important roles to play in the development and management of
all transport systems and in establishing the framework within which
local governments act.
Following is a list of the relevant State and Federal policies
that should inform and support an not only an integrated transport
strategy but any transport related activity that local governments
undertake. The main heading of each section connects to a folder
that has a brief summary of and links to the relevant documents.
