Board Elections 2024

The Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA) supports councils and elected representatives to deliver positive outcomes for their local communities through high performance leadership and effective governance.

This is your chance to work with a well-established Association, with a clear focus on delivering member value and an ambitious strategic plan on the horizon.

Nominating as a Candidate

In accordance with clause 31 of the VLGA’s Constitution, the two elected Board members will hold office for three years subject to the provisions of this clause.

The term of the two Councillors elected in 2021 will expire on 30 June 2024 and therefore will be deemed vacant for the purposes of this election. Councillors from all VLGA member Councils* are eligible to nominate for election to the VLGA Board.
