The VLGA is pleased to be working with Welcoming Cities and the Scanlon Foundation to deliver a number of upcoming projects designed to encourage diverse participation in local government decision-making.

One of these projects is a resource which captures the experiences of Victorian councillors from diverse cultural backgrounds (particularly those from non-English speaking backgrounds), from challenges and barriers to rewarding experiences and proudest achievements.

Come along to meet some of your fellow councillors and learn about the project ahead of the in-person launch in early 2022.
