VLGA & LGiU Global Live Panel: Rural and Coastal Shires

Join LGiU and the VLGA for the final Global Panel Discussion of 2022. In this panel we hear from CEOs and Executives from rural, coastal and island shires from across the UK and Australia discussing the uniques challenges that these communities face.

This panel event will take place online via Zoom, with details sent to registrants 2 days prior to the event. 

6:30PM AEDT / 7.30AM UK time. 

Chris Eddy and the VLGA CEO Kathryn Arndt will moderate a Q&A style discussion with a panel comprising:

  • Malcolm Burr - CEO of Western Isles Council (Scotland)
  • Niall Healy - Director of Municipal Districts and Rural Operations at Cork County Council (Ireland)
  • John Baker - CEO Mornington Peninsula Shire Council (Victoria, Australia)
